The First Post

Yes, this blog is written as a mimic of my first reader's, that of my uncle Richard Le Flan (I guess he's recently changed his last name).  But this blog is, I warn you, going to be complete with slightly less interesting stories, not quite as funny anecdotes, terrible grammar and spelling, and a few boring pictures.  I've not traveled to Antarctica or Africa, and I haven't been a sound recorder, DJ, photographer nor a canoer by any means.  I can't tell a parrot from a finch and I've never tried to grow bamboo in my back yard.  I'm sorry to disappoint.  I'll try my best to make this interesting....
